Book A Room

We are working on re-offering rooms to anyone who cancelled their reservation. We were hoping there would be some leftover rooms after this process, but unfortunately this now seems unlikely.

Confirm an Existing Reservation

Because passkey cannot see the transfer to 2021, the only way to confirm is to call 1-800-648-5080 and ask. The hotel can still find your reservation under your original passkey confirmation number. If you can’t find your confirmation, try looking for an email from noreply@goblfc.org on March 21 or 22, 2021. If you still can’t find your confirmation, the hotel can probably look it up other ways.

Modify Existing Reservation

The only way to modify or cancel an existing reservation is to call 1-800-648-5080. The hotel can still find these reservations under your original Passkey confirmation number.

Rooms also require a daily $30 resort fee which pays for wireless internet, an airport shuttle (runs every half hour), parking, and a refrigerator and bottled water in your room (refreshed daily). The resort fee (plus tax) is charged separately when you check in. There is also a $2 per day housekeeping tip charged to your room, which you can opt out of at check-in. If you want to leave a bigger tip, you may still leave cash tips in your room.

The Summit at Grand Sierra

Remodeled in 2013. Rooms on higher floors.
• 3 days: $159 per night, plus taxes and fees ($216/night after tax+fees)
• 4 days: $147 per night, plus taxes and fees ($203/night after tax+fees)
• 5 days: $140 per night, plus taxes and fees ($195/night after tax+fees)

The “A” Hotel

Remodeled in 2017.
• 3 days: $189 per night, plus taxes and fees ($250/night after tax+fees)
• 4 days: $177 per night, plus taxes and fees ($237/night after tax+fees)
• 5 days: $170 per night, plus taxes and fees ($229/night after tax+fees)

Prices shown are average per-night cost. Taxes and fees apply: Add $30/night resort fee, $2/night tourism fee, and 13% tax. Automated emails may mention a charge for 3rd and 4th roommates, but those are waived if you book in our block.

Room requests on your Mobile phone

When you check in to the GSR, you can also provide a mobile phone number you can use for room requests, such as asking for towels or extra housekeeping requests.

Debit Card Users

The hotel holds an extra $50/night from your card when you check in. If you check in using a debit card, this will reduce your available balance. It may take up to 10 days after checkout to be returned to your account; your bank controls that, not the hotel. Tip: if you’re eating in on-site restaurants, charge to your room to utilize this tied-up money.

Unfortunately, overflow rooms booked from the Nugget were cancelled when the con was originally rescheduled. People who had rooms in the Nugget should be offered an opportunity to book a room in the GSR on August 7th, 2021. At that time, log into hotel.goblfc.org to book a room.
